Communication was via WhatsApp. Parking was available in the courtyard. Card payment was possible. A kitchenette was available, though we didn’t use it. A small fridge was in the room. There’s a road around the house, but since we woke up at 7 am it didn’t bother us. At night cars almost didn’t run. However, it could be unpleasant for someone who wants to sleep in.

Private parking in the courtyard is a big plus, and the accommodation also comes with a private grill and a shared kitchen; the host is very kind and helpful, and the place feels very modern.

“O oază de liniște și ospitalitate!”

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Casa Viv in Chiril! The location is superb, surrounded by a fairy‑tale mountain landscape, perfect for relaxation and total disconnection. Cleanliness is impeccable, and the rooms are extremely comfortable and welcoming. The covered barbecue area is excellently arranged and gave us all the comfort for a perfect, relaxing evening by the fire while the meat sizzled on the grill. The positioning is ideal, right at the entrance on Transrarău, making it the perfect spot if you want to explore the area on two wheels. We made full use of the location and rode our bicycles up the trail – it’s superb and spectacular! After an intense day on the trail, the hostel’s courtyard was perfect for unwinding, and the terrace area, excellently arranged, provided everything we needed for a successful outdoor evening. The hosts deserve all the praise – exceptionally kind, detail‑oriented, and eager to make sure you have everything you need. I recommend them with full confidence and will definitely return! The room was very cozy in a quiet area near the river, the owners were friendly and helpful, and a motorcycle was parked in the closed courtyard in front of the property; we’ve been there for the third time and are always satisfied.
