The location was fine, only a 15‑minute walk to the waterfront, but we were assigned a basement room without any prior notice.

The inn was pleasant and small, well situated only a 20‑minute walk from the harbor and the city, but I sometimes wonder if there are better ways to fit a small air‑con into a room than slinging a thick hose through the window and tacking it on with a lot of ugly tape.

The location was convenient, within walking distance to some lively pubs for a late‑night bite, but the room was very humid and there were plenty of flies hovering over the breakfast.

The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was plentiful, I could leave my suitcase after checkout, and a restaurant just a 3‑minute walk away offered a discount; however, my room faced the street and I wished the blinds were only at the bottom so I could let light in from the top.
