Templestowe Hotel, Number One for Entertainment in Torquay

The food was really nice, the staff were excellent, and the entertainment was good, though the compere could have been better.

“Feels very rushed in the morning of departure breakfast is served 8am-9:30am and had to vacate the room by 10am”

Breakfast was nice, but the location was a bit out of the way; we had to walk through town to reach the harbour and were shocked by the number of homeless and addicts congregating. The decor was very outdated, seeming aimed at an older crowd, and the coach parties didn’t appreciate being placed on a table with strangers at breakfast.

The pool and sea view were great, but the venue felt more suited to much older clients.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was good 👍.

“Had a lovely time and if we returned to Torquay we would definitely book this hotel.”

Breakfast was fantastic with fully cooked dishes, toast, cereals, fruits, fruit juice, croissants, tea, and coffee; the evening meals were a good choice and the nightly entertainment was excellent. A big bonus was the lift to all floors. No complaints, would return.
