It’s a bit pricey, but June Lake draws a lot of visitors.

I was so disappointed: paying that much for a room with a floor that’s buckling, bubbling, and rips, and having trouble getting hot water in the shower was a huge let‑down; the only redeeming factor was the view.

The location is great, the room is comfy, and the overall vibe is nice.

The spot is perfect, the kitchen is handy, the bed is good, and it’s only four minutes from the trailhead, offering solid value; I’m very happy with my stay! The bar across the road played loud-ish music until about 9:00, which was a minor annoyance because I’m very sensitive to thumping bass.
