I checked in on my own and the spot is great, but the hygiene left a lot to be desired—especially in the bathroom. Over four days (three nights) I only received one roll of toilet paper and a half roll.

Getting to the hostel from Nova Gorica station is a walk, which is convenient. Since it’s a dorm, I ended up in a room with just two beds instead of the usual 8–12 bed dormitory. The bathrooms are a bit cramped and the pillows aren’t very comfortable.

The hostel offers great value for money, feels cozy and clean, has a bright room and decent common bathrooms in a quiet, pleasant area. Self‑check‑in was easy thanks to clear instructions and good communication. I’d gladly return anytime.
