“If I ever go back to Safford I will definitely stay again”

This was the best Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at; the location was perfect and the staff were incredibly friendly, so there was nothing I disliked.

Everything was close by, but the cleaners kept entering my room even after I asked them not to clean.

The staff were friendly and parking was easy, but I booked a deluxe queen and got double beds instead. The lingering smell of smoke was strong, the room had a bit of dust, and the bathroom door was unbalanced, making a loud noise when opened or closed. There are better options for just a little more money in town.

I appreciate that pets are allowed without a fee, which gives peace of mind on a long road trip. However, when I arrived I was told I needed to hand‑pay a $100 cash deposit before getting my key, even though I had prepaid online a day earlier with a credit card. They said it was due to certain area codes causing room damage, but they wouldn’t accept a credit card on file. There was no paper in the lobby explaining these “new changes”; the only notice was behind a desk, invisible to guests.
