Everything worked out flawlessly, especially the host’s communication and the hassle‑free self‑check‑in, though the large window faced the street so the curtains stayed shut all day.

The place was extremely noisy; both street noise and the apartment’s acoustics were loud, and the window was leaky and let in drafts.

The spot was great for walking around the old town, street parking was free and easy, the host was very friendly, the room was well set up with a private bathroom and a shared kitchenette that had everything needed, but it was quite noisy, which is normal in Iceland.
