The owners were friendly, but the old‑school charm seems gone for some reason; the photos no longer match the current state, and awards from 30 years ago are outdated. The spot is a gem, yet the building needs a refresh.

Breakfast was excellent with jams, drinks, and presentation; the room was original and nice with a good bed, and the welcome was great, especially with our dog. The ground floor entrance was too crowded.

The location was fabulous, just a short walk from the old town.

The hosts were welcoming and the location was close to our event venue, but the place looked nothing like the photos; we expected a charming building and instead found a dusty, aging jumble with objects everywhere. The breakfast was ordinary with expired butter, questionable jams, but plenty of toasted bread (the buffet).
