Guesthouse Villa Plitvička, a newly built family‑run retreat in Mukinje, lies a 15‑minute walk from the Plitvice Lakes entrance. Its cosy rooms feature satellite TV, free Wi‑Fi, and private terraces. A nearby grocery shop, bus station, and on‑site breakfast add convenience, while regional specialties—freshwater fish, goulash, grilled fare—await at the adjacent restaurant.

Everything was clean and perfect for one night, and the next day we visited the park.

The place has a lot of charm, feels very cozy and comfortable, and the welcome was wonderfully warm. The bedding was perfect and the breakfast was generous. It’s just 5 minutes from Plitvice Lakes, and the parking is free. Absolutely great!

The entrance 2 of the national park is a 20‑minute walk away. The rooms were fine for two nights, with comfortable beds and a very quiet setting. A bistro with good pizza and burgers is 100 m away. Breakfast was sufficient.
