“Overpriced and dated.”

It’s in the centre of York, giving easy access to all the bars and attractions. The price we paid for the room was terrible for what we got: it was advertised as a double bed, but the room certainly wasn’t. The bathroom tap didn’t even fit the sink, so water splashed everywhere whenever we used it. Both the bathroom and the room, along with the rest of the hotel, felt dated.

The location was brilliant, the staff were very nice, and the bed was really comfortable.

“Fabulous stay in great location.”

The location was great, the hotel itself and the staff were lovely. The rooms were small and only had one chair.

“Location ideal”

The location matched our needs, and the price was only a fraction higher than a major brand hotel, yet it included breakfast. The room featured a large, extremely comfortable bed, a wardrobe, adjoining cupboards, and a safe beneath the bed. A very large television was present, and the bathroom was well laid out with a good selection of towels. Breakfast was excellent and spread over a large area, making it easy to move around.

The stay was fantastic; the staff were excellent and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the dinner restaurant was exceptional. We will return.
