The Bridge House Hotel

The room was nice and spacious, offered good value, and the shower was decent. The bed could have been more comfortable, and a spring cleaning would have helped.

“HORRIFIC”

Nothing positive except the location. The place was dirty and rundown; the receptionist gave other guests our room code twice, and the staff seemed clueless, even trying to convince me it was housekeeping who entered my room. It was actually another guest who had my code, and I had to insist it wasn’t housekeeping. A man was sent back to reception to sort it out, making me feel the staff were fully aware. They also read my room code out loud at the desk so others could hear it. Rooms caught fire, there was a burnt smell in other rooms, banging noises, and overall it felt like a horror movie.

“Basic accommodation and value for money.”

The location was good, the place was clean, the steak I ordered was excellent and good value 😀. The property needs major updates 100%.

The location was good, the rooms were comfortable and suitable for a single night, but a little more upgrade would make it really nice.

“Very disappointed”

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the air conditioning system throughout the hotel wasn’t working and this wasn’t mentioned; they said it was maintenance but it looked like it hadn’t worked for a while. The hotel was grubby, and the communal areas and corridors hadn’t been cleaned in a long time; the room itself wasn’t very clean either. I think it needs a complete renovation. It was cheap but not really worth the money.
