It’s an extraordinary spot: the property is stunning, almost otherworldly, yet still close enough to the nearby town. The welcome is especially warm—more than a simple greeting, it feels like a genuine encounter, an exchange and sharing if you’re inclined. The breakfast is enjoyable: varied, plentiful, nicely presented, and well served, but the items are mainly industrial‑sourced (no fresh bread on the day I stayed).

The location is very quiet in the countryside. I would have liked more homemade options for breakfast.

Very welcoming and kind, with a peaceful setting. The breakfast was excellent. At 78 I found her looking younger than her age; her husband explained what he did, and she told us about her daughter, a painter who creates beautiful works. Thanks in advance and I’ll return next time, Danielle and Laurent.
