They refunded the cost of the stay. The rooms were dirty, the walls were scratched, and for the same price I found a hotel closer to Taksim with better renovation and cleanliness standards. The administrator claimed the mold was “stone” and appealed that the hotel was budget‑segment.

The location and price were good. Unfortunately, the old building’s rooms were not hygienic, though it might work for short stays.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean when we arrived, and the hotel was a good base for our 14‑night stay in Istanbul. Unfortunately, housekeeping was almost non‑existent throughout those 14 nights; the room wasn’t regularly cleaned or restocked, and we had to keep asking for fresh towels. Even when towels were provided, we often received only two instead of three for the three guests. For a two‑week stay, regular cleaning and basic replenishment should be expected, and the staff were not particularly attentive or proactive.

“Redelijke hotel”

Great spot and solid price‑quality ratio, but the bathroom lacked soap and overall hygiene was lacking.

The hotel was excellent, rooms were comfy and the location was great; staff were always friendly and helpful, and bus stops, taxi pick‑ups, and a variety of shops were all close by.
