“Décevant”

The reception was very friendly, with a welcome booklet and a planter. I expected a sea‑view room, yet I ended up in a glass jar: all windows were either high up or almost opaque, so I had to lean over the apartment to see the sky’s color. I cut my stay short without the owner being upset, and received no compensation.

The house is gorgeous and the view is amazing. I was a bit confused by the listing because there aren’t two beds in the room, but an arrangement could be made. A few supplies are missing: toilet paper, coffee filter… just ask.

The room and bathroom were huge, the vibe was cozy and it felt like home, and the sea view was wow. No Wi‑Fi, and the staff didn’t speak French even though they were very pleasant. One dog was overly clingy and even ate my shoe. It felt like a guesthouse with no other occupants.

“Superbe propriété …”

We arrived late, the house was enormous, the interior décor was very original and green, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast view was sublime. There was no shower, only a bathtub where the water drains poorly and the drain is full of hair. The furniture inside was dusty. A pre‑written message with thanks was sent the day before we left, and the owners seemed happy to have shared convivial moments even though we hardly saw them. No goodbye on the morning of departure.

Getting in touch with the hosts was very easy. The setting is stunning, the bedroom and bathroom are extremely spacious, the bed was supremely comfortable, and the kitchen offered a sunset view over the Caribbean Sea—delicious. Thanks! The only thing I’d add is a mosquito net in the room.
