Magical Post and Beam Loft Downtown Newport!

“Potential to be a fantastic place.”

The venue felt really cool and eclectic, with a spacious open area and a convenient walking location. The spa shower was nice, but the grounds were overrun with 2‑ft‑high weeds all around, and ladders were stacked with 3‑ft‑high weeds. A police station sat on one side and a restaurant on the other, and there were 20 garbage cans surrounded by 3‑ft‑high weeds. Both balconies had dead plants and 2‑ft‑high weeds everywhere. The couch was absolutely disgusting, smelling like dog; on the last day I avoided it entirely because of the odor. The kitchen counter had human and dog hair. The loft bedroom windows had no handles, and two stayed open the whole time. Two of the three kitchen outlets didn’t work, and the half‑bath outlet was dead. There was nowhere to hang a hand towel or a toilet paper holder in the half‑bath, and the interior door lacked a handle so it couldn’t be closed fully. The full bath was very dim, making it hard to get ready. Despite all that, the place is unique and cool, but it really needs better upkeep.

“The apartment was quiet and very comfortable, a great place to unwind after a busy day in Newport.”

The apartment felt really cool and well‑designed inside; the beds were comfy, the kitchen and coffee nook were great, the bathrooms were tidy, and the shower had good pressure. The hosts were easy to reach throughout our stay. However, the entry instructions should be clearer about how to get in, and the lock‑door directions were wrong even though we eventually figured out the keypad. The towels were thin and sometimes scratchy, and I couldn't find a hand towel in the powder room. A few more hangers in the closets would help.

“Not sure it was the right place for my family, but for some, it could work”

I recently stayed at a unique Airbnb that blended the charm of a high-end ski lodge with the style of a Soho downtown loft. The beautiful, well-equipped kitchen was a highlight, and I appreciated the two spacious decks where I could sit and enjoy the surroundings. The location was convenient, with plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance.

“Fantastic!”

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely perfect in every way. The location was incredibly easy to get to, and the fact that parking was available was a huge bonus. The property itself was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
