Penzion Na Prachárně

The staff were great and helpful. I stayed at the pension three years ago, and comparing that to this visit, the cleanliness has worsened. There was a lot of dust, cobwebs, and the overall appearance of the pension seemed untidy, which is a shame because otherwise everything was super.

The location is excellent, and the staff are friendly.

We used the accommodation for just one night, purely for a place to sleep, because we had an event nearby. However, the value for money was appropriate. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fine. The surroundings were very nice. :)

The place is gorgeous and the people are incredibly kind, with service that feels like a miracle these days. The only downside is that the Kozel beer was not great; a short walk to Rakovník, Chříč brewery, would have been better for a nice drink. The dogs were wonderful, and we’re grateful!

I stayed in a room that felt a bit retro but still functional, with enough storage, comfy beds, and a private bathroom that was a great deal. The view and surroundings were lovely, and the staff were very pleasant. However, the room cleaning could have been more thorough—there were cobwebs by the windows, hair on the sheets and pillowcase, and the sheet itself was dirty. We also had a major issue with the shower temperature in both rooms, where the water would either be scorching hot or freezing cold.
