A private terrace provides lake views. The room contains one extra‑large double bed for two guests, a dining area, a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower. Climate control and standard connectivity are provided within the space.

We had a fantastic time at Girilena Resort. The accommodation was spotless and spacious, exactly as shown in the photos. The location is great; the cave temple is within walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, very authentic and plentiful. Even though we arrived late, we were spontaneously served a wonderful dinner. The family was incredibly friendly and helpful, supporting us with every issue and always offering good tips. The value for money is excellent! However, as mentioned in other comments, the host offered to take us on a detour to a spice forest in his tuk-tuk. It’s a nice gesture, but you should be careful not to fall into a tourist trap.

Girilena Resort was a very comfortable place to stay and perfectly located for a short walk to the Rock Temple. Local breakfast was delicious and generous. Dinner at Golden Rainbow close by was a superb Sri Lankan local curry buffet, the best we have experienced during our travels in Sri Lanka

Really beautiful spot, tucked into nature, and the staff were super kind and helped us plan all the excursions we wanted. We had breakfast and lunch there, and they cooked amazing local dishes—better than the restaurant! If you want a true Sri Lankan experience, this is the place.

The tree cabin and the garden patio are what make this place feel like home. Prices are great. Everything was awesome.
