St Andrews Cathedral is a 15-minute walk, with riverbank restaurants accessible in 10 minutes on foot.

The location was great, just a short walk to the centre and there was parking available. However, we had to climb three flights of stairs with our suitcases, the room decor felt dated, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean.

Staff were friendly but we had a horrible stay. There was a person yelling angrily and shouting F-bombs for hours from about 4am till almost 7pm in the room next to ours. The front desk was not open at the time. It was both scary and annoying and I am still waiting for a partial refund for the horrid experience. The yelling and cussing of other guests for hours in the early morning. The uncomfortable beds

Everything was great. The room was a bit too noisy; we could hear a lot of noise from the room above.

The people were friendly and there was parking. Food was good for Scottish standards at a reasonable price. It is a bit far from the centre.
