I had a lovely stay at this Pousada. The room was simple but had everything I needed and was spotless. Breakfast was delightful, served with warmth and great personality by Dona Iracy, who never got tired of my basic Portuguese. On my last day she made my favourite tapioca! Thank you again! The location is excellent—5 minutes walk to the town centre, 3 minutes to the bus station, and it was extremely quiet. I’d recommend this Pousada to anyone who wants to experience authentic inland Brazil and its welcoming people. Nothing negative.

The staff were amazing – I had to leave early before breakfast, but they let me have coffee and even handed me some cheese bread. I was worried about bugs since it’s in the woods, but the room was spotless.
