“Decent stay in Thessaloniki.”
The room was clean, the location was good, and the harbour views were nice. The staff were courteous and helpful. However, the twin beds were too small, making the room feel cramped. The common areas, including reception and breakfast, were too small and poorly ventilated. Clothes racks were for sale, and suitcases crowded the same space—apparently there was no storage. The ground floor felt disordered and untidy. The building, a converted small block of flats, didn’t provide much comfort; the rooms were similarly cramped and overcrowded in the morning. Breakfast was somewhat bland, lacking the personal touch seen in Thessaloniki, so it wasn’t worth the extra charges. Noise from the main avenue below reached the third floor all day; it improved at night, but I’d recommend better window insulation or choosing a back room with no view for those sensitive to noise.
