I liked the view, but the breakfast was lacking because there were at least two options to choose from; I didn’t enjoy the chicken livers—they were too spicy and oily.

The staff was not friendly; we’re not sure if they were told not to talk to visitors or what. The place does not have a receptionist, so if we hadn’t met the owner it would have been a problem. The staff’s unfriendlyness and the place’s untidiness were both disappointing.

The views are breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious, but the rooms have no 2‑point plugs. The fact that there’s no reception area, the pool deck has quite a number of broken planks, the deck chairs by the pool are worn out, the braai stand was filthy, and the shower door is broken.
