“Nice location”

The location is good and parking was available on site. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The rooms need some attention: there were cobwebs in the corners of the windows and the corners of the room. The mattresses were really thin and uncomfortable. The shower was difficult to use; it was either too hot or too cold, and there was a very loud filtering system on the toilet that smelled of eggs.

“Broken bed, damp, mould, non flushing toilet”

When we stepped into the room, a strong damp odor hit us and damp marks covered the walls. The shower corner leaked, flooding the bathroom, and mould grew above it. The toilet barely flushed, requiring several attempts. The double bed was the worst; the side I slept on was broken and collapsed, forcing me to lie on the other side to avoid sinking, and the fabric at the base was heavily stained. We told the owner, who promised it would be fixed, but it wasn’t addressed during our stay; he seemed unsurprised, so we assumed he knew. We paid £90, a price similar to two other places we visited, and felt it was far too high for a broken bed, damp room, mould, leaky shower, and non‑flushing toilet. I’m not picky, but this was unacceptable.

Nothing as I'd paid and he was vile and later presumed he was verbally abusive to a girl. Rude mould and no Wi-Fi and when asked a stained iron after three asks

The room was lovely but outlook a bit bleak

showers didn’t work and just drips coming out of tap, had a kettle but no cup
