Desejo Motel

Great value for money, but the whirlpool tub was a problem.

Good service, but the accommodation was decent.

I stayed there and didn’t like the shower.

Only the breakfast was acceptable. I’m writing to express my utter outrage over the experience I booked through the platform and to demand a full refund. I chose this property trusting the platform’s reputation, but that trust was completely shattered. The room was filthy: the bathtub had hair and grime, the bedding was dirty, the floor was wet, slippery and dirty, and the walls and ceiling were mouldy with an overwhelming stench that made me cough all night. My husband had to take a cold shower after the reception told us merely to turn the shower knob, and after waiting over an hour we learned the gas had been turned off. The air‑conditioner, which should have heated the room, didn’t work, and we were left with a single thin sheet in freezing weather. No glass was provided for water, and the front desk never responded properly to our requests. We also paid an extra R$ 135,00 to check in two hours early, yet the accommodation was far below any basic standard expected from a globally recognized booking site. I have photos and videos as proof, and it’s deeply disappointing that the platform offers no effective channel to resolve such a serious issue.

The location was great, but the bathroom lacked a shower enclosure, the shower head was broken, the sink drain was clogged, the sink was filthy with hair in the drain, the walls had a dust coat, and the TV only picked up a few channels.
