Breakfast was superb, offering fresh fruit, pastries, cooked dishes and local specialties. The restaurant was nice, yet the menu was limited and didn’t change; you’ll need to drive to a local spot if you stay over three nights, which worked for us but might not suit everyone.

The accommodation is beautifully set in the landscape, with lovingly furnished seating areas on the grounds. There are two infinity pools that radiate a wonderful tranquility, and two electric‑car charging stations. The restaurant’s menu is narrow and offers too little variety for a week.

A truly stunning place with an amazing view over the valley, and breakfast that was both excellent and beautifully presented; the restaurant offers only a few dishes, but they’re all top‑quality. I’d definitely book on the upper floor to take advantage of the view.
