A stunning colonial‑style hotel with a fantastic swimming pool, spacious rooms, and soft beds; the staff were incredibly friendly. The neighborhood, however, is filled with many Russians on holiday who can be loud and sometimes unfriendly to others.

The rooms were very good—spacious and clean, with excellent service. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the pool was a delight. It’s close to the beach and shops, so I highly recommend it.

“Great place to spend a few days after a round tour to relax and recharge.”

The hotel sits a little back and feels almost like a jungle escape. I found the room spacious, spotless, and equipped with AC plus tea and coffee facilities—sitting on the balcony with a cuppa while watching wildlife was a highlight. Anil’s team went above and beyond to make my stay relaxing: Chef Lionel personally asked how I wanted my Sri Lankan breakfast and cooked it flawlessly, and Chanu always delivered it with a grin. The yoga sessions kicked off the mornings nicely, and Amindu’s herb powder scrub and steam bath are especially worth trying. A bonus is the sister hotel on the beach, just a 7‑minute walk away, where loungers and changing rooms are available. Perfect recommendation, though it isn’t suitable for guests with mobility issues.

“Top!!!”

The peace, the very friendly staff, the view from the balcony with all the trees and activity, the great pool, the massage, the tasty breakfast—truly a recommendation if you want a few days of rest before flying home. Oh, and the beach, cute shops, and restaurants are right around the corner! The friendliness! And look at the beautiful breakfast table on the day of departure ❤️
