The hostel’s location was great, right next to the pier, which made everything convenient. The room itself was nice and tidy, had air conditioning and a towel. Breakfast was included and turned out pretty good. They also helped us get tickets for the slow boat, which was very handy. The only downside was that it was the most expensive hostel I stayed at while traveling around Southeast Asia, yet the overall standard was among the worst. The bathroom was definitely the worst I’d seen on my entire trip. Given the price, I was disappointed with the bathroom and think it needs improvement. Communication was a struggle too, because the young man at reception barely spoke English. All in all, with the cost in mind, I expected better.
