I had an excellent stay, but I also noticed a few issues that could use improvement.

It’s an excellent hotel on the edge of the city center, which is a good 1 km walk away; the staff were helpful and the breakfast buffet was delicious. No problems.

The location was great, the room was neat and spacious, and the staff were friendly.

The room with a balcony was very good, the location close to the train station and very central, and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. The dinner was a disaster: on two of the two evenings we waited about 45 minutes for a free table, and because several groups were being served we ended up on the “cat table” on the second evening just before the kitchen closed. We never received the drinks we ordered and had to get our own water for the meal. The staff were very friendly but clearly overwhelmed. I would not recommend half‑board to short‑stay guests.
