City Partner Central-Hotel Wuppertal

The room was budget‑friendly, clean, and fully equipped. A glass bottle of mineral water, free tea and brewed coffee were provided. The staff were polite. The spot is 5–7 minutes from the station on a pedestrian street. The curtains are blackout. The only drawback was street noise: on a Saturday evening, around midnight, loud, possibly homeless, drunk people argued and shouted, and even with windows closed I couldn’t fall asleep right away; a compressor or street‑cleaning motor kept rumbling until the morning, then it quieted. Maybe it was just an unlucky day or I should have asked for a room not facing the street.

Breakfast and location were fine. The pillows were quite limp, and there was an annoying tick in the heating system.

Comfortabel hotel in het centrum van Wuppertal. Dichtbij de Schwebebahn en alle andere OV mogelijkheden. Niet het modernste hotel, maar schoon en comfortabel. Er waren helaas werkzaamheden buiten op straat, met kabaal, maar daar kan het hotel niks aan doen

Close to the train station, very convenient for a one‑night stay. Everything you need is there. The beds were very soft, which can be a problem for people with different preferences. It was very loud all night on the street outside the window.

“Es war einfach gut”

Breakfast was very good, the location is in the pedestrian zone of the city center with easy access to the train station and public transport. For those with breakfast included, it’s top. Everything was clean, though the building feels old. The staff were very friendly. I’d recommend it for those on a tight budget. The shower is of an older 70s/80s design and may not fit well for older people, but otherwise everything was very clean.
