Palazzo Rosso, a refurbished 19th-century building in Riposto, features an outdoor pool, spa, and free Wi-Fi. Rooms offer satellite TVs, air conditioning, and balconies with garden, Mount Etna, or sea views. The à la carte restaurant serves meat and fish specialties. Guests enjoy a children's playground, private parking, and free bikes. The sea is a 10-minute walk away, Catania Airport 40 minutes, and Taormina 30 km.

The pool sits in a large garden that includes a small animal area, lemon trees, and a lovely en‑suite room with two big beds, a spacious balcony terrace, and a view of Etna from the beautiful bathroom. Check‑in was very late because the Catania airport had closed, but the breakfast was good. Everything was fine; we just wish we’d stayed longer.

Silence and peace. No cars, just a village. The street outside was dirty.

The reception was friendly, the dinner and breakfast were great, and the rooms were very clean. The exterior of the building and the pool could use some upkeep.
