“DID NOT STAY. SCAM ALERT . RUN !!!!”
I never stayed there after all that mess. The host changed the title and description after I booked, omitted the conditions she later mentioned in private messages, and showed no photos of my actual room. After booking a non‑refundable room, she claimed that MAN would stay outside the house (!!!) in a tent‑like bathroom that isn’t even legal under California law. No communication; I tried to request a cancellation waiver because it wasn’t as described, but the host didn’t answer my calls and only replied to booking messages once every three days with scam‑like messages trying to trick me. Support was useless, saying they were waiting for her to accept the cancellation after I supplied clear proof that it was a scam and the room was not as described. I’ll open a Visa claim to get my money back, but stay away from this property if you don’t want to lose your money.
