Marianna is very welcoming and super helpful with any issue, providing lots of useful information for tourists, a nice place, a beautiful garden, excellent breakfast, and all services work well. The hotel sits on a fairly steep hill but is only 5 minutes from the main square in the port, and three bus lines stop right outside the hotel door starting from the square.

A comfortable, recently renovated hotel located in the upper part of Casamicciola. The family‑run management, almost entirely female, shows itself in the care of the surroundings, the kindness of the two sisters, and the meticulous cleanliness of the rooms. A special mention goes to the garden/ botanical garden where you’ll find huge fruiting banana plants, chestnut trees, avocados, and many other unusual fruits. No swimming pool.

This family‑run spot is tiny but charming, tucked up a hill yet still within walking distance of the main piazza and the city centre. The garden is a lush, peaceful retreat with a massive fig tree that’s perfect for watching the bay and passing boats. Everyone on staff—especially the owner—was friendly and eager to help, offering great local restaurant tips, sightseeing advice, and bus‑route guidance. We spoke mostly English, with a few German words. On our departure day the owner even drove us to the centre in his car, hauling our heavy luggage. If you have food allergies, just let them know; I didn’t mention mine but they supplied gluten‑free bread the following day. The only drawback is the uphill location, though a bus stop is conveniently nearby. Highly recommend for anyone craving an authentic, quiet stay.
