“Perfect location, atmosphere and value for money.”

The vibe was very relaxed. The pool was great for days of just chilling out. The location was brilliant, with a promenade down a number of steps that had amazing restaurants. A local bus easily took us to the old town. The hosts organized a boat day for us, which was fantastic. The pillows and mattress weren’t comfortable, but after a night we got used to them.

The price‑to‑quality ratio is good. The room we stayed in had a sea view, it wasn’t very large but acceptable. The 135 cm deep pool was clean and reasonably sized compared to the number of rooms in the guesthouse. The room we occupied had a sliding bathroom door that was quite unpleasant because it didn’t close well. There was no coat rack in the bathroom. The distance to the beach is not as described by the guesthouse; it’s almost double, and to get from the nearest beach to the guesthouse you have to climb many stairs (200 steps).

“Lovely accommodation on a steep hill with a fantastic view , great pool to cool off.”

The balcony offers a beautiful view, and the accommodation is clean and basic, but be prepared for a steep climb—about 100 steps from the main restaurant strip and beach up to the property.

The view towards the beach and sea is very nice. The staff are friendly. The area is very quiet but still close to everything.

The pool is wonderfully clean and refreshing, with very pleasant and sturdy lounge chairs. The view is stunning, the location is top, and Lapad is a beautiful beach town. Everything is within walking distance: bus stop, shop, beach, boulevard, yet it remains quiet. We enjoyed it. The room is small but still okay; the bed had very hard mattresses, so you could feel every metal wire. The mini‑fridge is too small; a larger one would be better, and having cutlery would also be nice.
