A warm welcome from the very friendly staff, and the food was excellent with perfect wine pairings for each course. The owner‑chef knows everything about food and wine, making this place a real gem; I hope to return next year.

The overall structure is fantastic and very evocative, though the room décor feels somewhat unsuitable for a building of this type.

I booked this hotel at the last minute for friends. They loved their stay, especially the host who was described as very lovely, warm and helpful. A ceiling fan in one bedroom only seemed to work when the lights were on. We were there during a heatwave, so it caused a bit of a sleepless night!
