“ZERO PRIVACY! Host would not leave us alone!”
The spot was spot on for what we needed, but privacy was non‑existent; the host kept popping into the trailer without asking, asked what we were doing and when we’d return, and even texted me a “wake‑up call” at 8 am and bombarded me with messages and gifts. We didn’t get any instructions on lights or facilities when we checked in, but we managed. There was a sock that wasn’t ours, hair in the shower, the bed was too soft, and the AC smelled awful. The trailer was parked right in front of the property, so the host watched us come and go and texted me when she knew I was away. Her husband greeted us first and gave a friendly vibe, but her wife kept insisting on interacting, asking us to pick raspberries, have coffee inside, and come over for a BBQ. Debbie wouldn’t stop texting after I asked her to give us privacy. She also runs a private company that booked the stay and refused to accept my card, which made me uneasy. This was one of the worst stays I’ve had away from home; the host was absolutely obnoxious.
