This is a perfect budget hotel in a great location in Fort Kochi.

“I am here for the biennale and It was convenient to stay at a walkable distance from the venues.”

I landed from Finland on a super early flight and the staff let me hang out on the top terrace while I waited for check‑in; they also handed out a pamphlet with local attractions and pictures on the stairs. I wish the hotel had clearer communication about what to expect, like whether a fridge is available for storing food, snacks, and chilled water, and whether there's a lift—information that would help if you have heavy luggage.

“Do not stay here”

The location let us walk to some nice spots, but everything else was awful. The staff was rude; we were checking out at 8 pm, had to ring the bell twice, and he yelled at us to leave the key while refusing to refund our money. No one greeted us when we arrived or left. The room was tiny, dirty, with holes in the bedding. The bathroom tap leaked and the toilet ran nonstop. We could hear dogs barking all night, and the van outside made the worst noise ever. One of the worst stays I've ever had.
