“The rooms are always comfortable and welcoming!”

I adore the palace‑like façade of the hotel, and the rooms are roomy and private, which makes me look forward to my next visit. I’ve had the chance to stay in all three buildings, but my most recent stay was brief; I’ll probably book again soon. I stayed in the main building where the check‑in office is located, and the jacuzzi in my room fits two people, though the noise can disturb other guests, which is my only gripe.

There was nothing positive to mention. I was assigned a basement room that smelled exactly like a sewer—this is no joke. The place was horrible, and while I was complaining six hours into my stay, another couple in the office was doing the exact same thing. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place.

“Dirty and unsafe despite $190 a night”

There was nothing positive to note. The hotel building is a 5‑minute drive from the reception itself. The first room they handed me was unclean; the owner claimed it was clean in the afternoon but then it wasn’t any more (someone broke in?). The second room’s floor was filthy with a bunch of hair. Then I discovered the balcony door was broken, and the owner didn’t care. I felt unsafe and had to cancel my stay.

“Notable, pero con matices”

The location is good. The facilities are old but functional, and the bed is very good. The jacuzzi is fantastic! We were given a studio on the first floor in an old block next to the university. The fridge is very noisy, and every time someone entered through the street door onto the stairs and closed it, our studio door vibrated because it was very loose.

“Not what I was hoping for.”

Once inside, room was passable. Place is scary. Lot unpaved and no lighting. This property is not as advertised. Check in is about 3/4 of a mile from rooms. It appears to be someone’s house. Again nothing paved or lighted. Building is run down. Room was actually not bad but the surrounding property is terrible. Did not feel safe there
