The TV didn’t work, the Wi‑Fi didn’t pick up in our room upon arrival, there was supposed to be a breakfast but there wasn’t one, which is a shame.

When we arrived, there was no one to greet us, and the staff that finally opened the door was even more disappointing – the place was filthy, abandoned, and stank badly. The bed was broken, the shower was broken with mold and no hot water, and the room door locked itself with a padlock that could be opened with the same key that opens all other rooms, so we had to buy a lock to feel safe. The pool was a dirty, abandoned pond, and the Riad itself was in the same state. Breakfast was included but the dishes we saw were unappetizing and the kitchen was as dirty and neglected as the rest of the accommodations. This was a horrible experience; we can’t understand how Booking lists such a place. It was the worst stay we’ve ever had in Marrakech and in our lives. We hope they take action so no one else is deceived.

The place and its décor were pretty decent, but we had to wait almost an hour outside the Riad with no response. We were forced to pay a higher tourist tax that wasn’t refunded due to a lack of seriousness and professionalism, even after three days. We paid for breakfasts that never materialised – absolutely none, which was a disgrace. Attempts to contact the managers about missing breakfast, insufficient toilet paper, and a shower that was clogged from day one were futile, except when we left, when even the extra 2 € in tourist tax couldn’t be refunded. It was truly shameful to pay for services that didn’t exist; I’ve never felt so taken for a fool.

The location was great, right next to restaurants, shops, and the pool. The only downside was that the mattress and bed were uncomfortable.
