Mrs. Puri went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, even helping me with a phone issue by calling her daughter to examine it. Thank you for their kindness and helpfulness. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air‑con was quiet. The bed was comfortable. My room had a cupboard for my clothes with a built‑in safe for valuables. I also liked and used the verandah in front of my room. I liked Amalia Guest House’s closeness to the train station, the ferry port, several supermarkets, etc.; I simply walked to those places. I liked everything at Amalia Guest House. I would return if I need to travel again from Java to Bali.

The location near the ferry is nice and the price is good. There are no choices for breakfast.

The bed is nice and the price‑quality ratio is very good. The bathroom could be cleaned better.

The location is close to the port and on a quiet street. The owner greeted us cheerfully and was attentive to our requests for a warung and a taxi; she even swapped our room because the AC was broken and a faucet was cracked. The second small room had water leaking from the sink onto the floor and the shower was unusable because a trickle of water came out; it seemed this had already been reported and nothing was fixed. Luckily we only stayed one night.
