We’ve stayed here several times and still love it. The rooms are lovely, the food absolutely delicious, and the staff are wonderful. When my partner fell ill, the hosts were incredibly accommodating, bringing food to the room and meeting every need. We truly couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Thank you, and we hope to return next year. There is nothing we didn’t like about this place.

I loved the decor, it was super cozy, clean, and the pizza night was a treat. Breakfast was also very good. Great value for money. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling around who needs a place to sleep for a night.

Everything was great. The welcome was friendly, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was excellent.

The staff were lovely and friendly, making you feel so welcome and doing everything possible for you. The food was lovely home‑made meals, and breakfast filled you up for the day. The location is in the centre of the village, great for walkers, and the owners kept you updated with any information you needed, even putting your wet boots and coats to dry for the next day. I will definitely be going back. Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

I had high expectations but only the breakfast and part of the previous evening’s dinner met them. The bathroom was okay with a shower and separate bathtub, sink and toilet, and the radiators were working. The staff were courteous. The mattresses were springy and very uncomfortable, both the double and the bunk beds; we were four in room 1 on the first floor and all slept very poorly. The room also had a lot of dust on the shelf next to the double bed, and the sheets didn’t have a good scent, as if the room hadn’t been used for a long time. There were no electrical outlets near the bunk beds.
