The family room itself was beautiful and matched the photos; it was a truly zen spot with a lakeside terrace that we unfortunately didn’t use because of bad weather. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the shared kitchen concept worked surprisingly well. We arrived over the weekend, so we barely met the staff, but all the necessary check‑in information came via email, so we had everything we needed from that perspective. On the downside, the exterior looked a bit neglected and abandoned compared to the polished interior, which was disappointing. The kids were excited about the park with its maze, the bridges over the lakes in the grounds, and the various water features they’d seen on the website. The grounds are beautiful and spacious, and all those attractions are there, but most of them are not functional—most look like long‑abandoned, slightly spooky areas. The bridges are sagging and inaccessible, the maze is overgrown, the water feature with stones is empty, the pergolas are abandoned with remnants of a vanished garden, etc. The grounds have huge potential that, in my opinion, is not being used at all.

“Es war ok für zwei Nächte.”

The room was clean and the bathroom was fine, but we couldn’t open the window at night so it got stuffy. There was hardly any staff around and the grounds felt almost deserted, while the interior spaces were spotless and the outdoor area looked a bit neglected.

“Rofyllt och vackert boende.”

It was a fantastic and unique place. We didn’t quite understand what we’d come to at first, but it was so beautiful and peaceful. We ended a hectic trip around Denmark with this stay, and it was a wonderfully relaxing finish. We had a shared bathroom that we were skeptical about, but it was super nice, fresh, and right next to our rooms. It felt a bit remote and deserted.
