The British mansion is stunning, well maintained, and surrounded by rolling tea plantations in Sri Lanka’s central highlands. The staff were extremely courteous and attended to all our needs, especially Yoga and Nethsera. The chef was also excellent, showcasing a diverse repertoire.

I had an incredible stay at the Governor’s Mansion, where I truly experienced the colonial lifestyle of a tea planter. The mansion is nestled in a serene tea plantation, offering breathtaking views and an atmosphere of tranquility. The staff were exceptional, with standout team members like Yoga and the talented chef, Jicont, who took excellent care of me. The food was the best I had on my entire trip, with mouth-watering rice and curry dishes and well-prepared Western cuisine.

This was my fourth visit to Sri Lanka, and my stay at the Governor’s Mansion was undoubtedly the most authentic and luxurious experience I've had, especially with my family. Everything about the mansion was fantastic, creating countless sweet memories for all of us.

My stay at the Governor’s Mansion was marked by personalized care and an extremely well-maintained property. The food was exceptional, but I did notice that the approach road needed an upgrade, particularly the last few kilometers.
