“We were looking forward to it, but wound up disappointed.”

The location was good and the idea of turning an old bank into a hotel was cool. The room felt cramped—there was barely any space to move around the queen‑size bed and no chair, table, or flat surface for a wallet, keys, phone, etc., and nothing to hang items on.

Convenient spot, but no breakfast, constant train noise at night, a very small room, and it was way overpriced.

“I stayed for one night and it was a really good experience right outside downtown Gastonia so it was lively as to be exp”

It was well kept, building was beautiful, & staff very friendly. The shower is a 2 x 3 1/2. Only downside

The location was great, but the loud AC in the room was annoying—though it wasn’t terrible after we played sleep music. The old building made the room feel really small.
