Terrace Inn Katsuta, Hitachinaka, is located a minute's walk from JR Katsuta Station's east exit. The hotel offers free WiFi, air-conditioned rooms with Simmons beds, and on-site restaurant Beiju serving Japanese and Western buffet breakfast. Hitachi Seaside Park is a 20-minute bus ride away, and Tokyo Narita International Airport is 120 minutes by bus. Convenience stores and dining options are within a 5-minute walk.

The station is nearby and the many restaurants were helpful. The breakfast staff’s attitude was not very good.

The spot is great—close to the train station and a bunch of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was decent, and the front‑desk crew were very friendly.

Breakfast was fine, but the coffee and croissants were terrible. The service was excellent, staff were helpful and polite, and the location was spot‑on. Rooms were reasonably large and quiet for Japan. Coffee needs a better espresso machine and better pastries. Adding a small gym, even just some stationary bikes, would be a nice touch.
