The property was in a quiet spot near the lake in Sóc Sơn, and the young woman who checked us in was sweet and understanding when we asked to leave early, but the place was extremely disappointing—dirty, neglected, almost derelict, with the restaurant empty, tables covered in dirty dishes and dust, and I got insect bites within two hours; the overall condition was so poor that I checked out early in the evening and would not stay again without major cleaning and maintenance.

The space was airy, but at night it felt a bit cramped compared to the photos; the staff were friendly but not professional, the security guard wouldn’t let guests in after closing, and the hammock still had to be opened manually.

“Ruhig gelegen, etwas verwunschen”

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, super hilfsbereit und bemüht. Wir konnten unsere Wünsche für Frühstück und Abendessen per WhatsApp kommunizieren. Wir bekamen sogar noch um 12 Uhr Frühstück! Die Anlage liegt absolut ruhig und abseits und ist schön angelegt. Der Pool und das Zimmer bieten einen schönen Blick auf den See. Es gibt Fahrräder und Kanu gratis zum leihen. Zimmer und Bett waren sehr schön und groß. Das Matratze ist relativ hart. Die Anlage wirkte, als wäre sie noch nicht auf Gäste eingestellt. Etwas ungepflegt und unordentlich. Aber das lag sicher an unserer Reisezeit in der Regensaison. Wir waren auch die einzigen Gäste, später kam noch ein weiteres Paar hinzu. In den 4 Tagen gab es keinen Zimmerservice, Wasser, Toilettenpapier oder Kaffe haben wir aktiv angefragt und vorne abgeholt

The location was calm and the setting relaxing, and despite the rain the lake view from the room was very soothing; it’s 20 minutes from the airport and tucked away from the city, with hardly anyone around except a few young people—more of a leisure centre than a bustling spot, but the breakfast was very simple and lacked coffee.

The photos really reflect what you find here; this spot is one of a kind. Every room comes with a patio overlooking the lake, perfect for grilling, and the free kayak and pool are nice extras. The rooms are well designed and the staff are great. We stayed two nights in two different rooms and fell in love with the one that has bottle walls—room 302.
