We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at The Farmhouse Guesthouse in Outjo; the room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped; the restaurant was a highlight with excellent food; the staff were welcoming, kind, and attentive all the way; the guesthouse offers great value; we would gladly recommend it.

Breakfast was fine, but there was no kettle in the room, the voile curtains were old, and the pillowcase needs replacing.

Everything was perfect, except that our room didn't have a microwave.

Breakfast comes from the on‑site restaurant, and the hotel sits right in the town centre. The room was clean with white bedding, good Wi‑Fi, safe parking, its own restaurant, air‑conditioning, and the staff were very polite and friendly. The place stayed quiet and peaceful, and I even enjoyed the frog sounds in the evening. The downside was that there were no steps to the room – you actually have to climb up holding onto a pole to reach it. There’s also a security light with a glass facing the door that flickers on and off every few seconds, which can be disturbing if you’re light‑sensitive. On the second day the water was cold.
