The spot is a great location right next to Maun, but it’s relatively expensive.

The cottages in the private game reserve were lovely with a view of the watering hole where animals come to drink, and check‑in started at 9:00, but the cost for accommodation and meals is quite high.

The lodge is magnificent in a beautiful reserve; animals mingle with the tents and the savannah sounds are impressive. The meals and breakfast were very good, and they gave great tips for nearby national parks.

The big beds were a plus, but there was no internet in the tent, no fridge, no kettle, and since we were the only guests we got the staff’s full attention.
