“Incompetência brutal”

I was shocked that from the very beginning of my stay there was no water throughout the hotel, so I couldn’t take a shower at all; there was no explanation or apology, which I find lamentable. The least they could have done was refund the stay to all guests present.

The place was clean, but the room right next to the reception was noisy from early morning and the staff couldn’t offer a solution.

“Ne correspond pas à notre attente”

The room was behind the building, so it was quiet and the bed was XXL. The bathroom had no space for toiletries and only a simple sink. The silver chair in the room was damaged, there was no fridge. It’s located on the roadside, the staff were very discreet, and the man at reception was very kind. The balcony was sad; everything damaged needs replacing.

“Proper en basic hotel, voor kort verblijf.”

Except for one receptionist, the staff were very friendly. The room was hygienic, the AC worked well, and breakfast was okay. The rooms are outdated and urgently need renovation. They’re also very small, so not suitable for long stays because of the limited storage space. Breakfast was fine but very basic; a little more variety would be welcome. There were cereal and nuts but no muesli. The poolside seats were worn and sagged. Finally, the staff made no effort to let me stay longer in my room for a later flight. The hotel was half empty when I left, yet I couldn’t stay in my room any longer. They suggested I shower at the pool shower, which was not very pleasant for a woman alone. The older receptionist almost forbade me from keeping my towels longer to dry myself and almost made me pay a 20 euro deposit to rent a towel. Luckily the younger receptionist had said earlier that this was not a problem; she was really nice!
