“In un Eden, prendete camera quenn "Gona masi 1"”
We booked the most beautiful room, called the Queen room on the booking site, featuring a large terrace that felt like stepping into an ancient temple; the exterior was stunning, though the interior became more ordinary, yet it was still worth photographing. Breakfast offered a variety of options: fruit, croissants, butter, jam, eggs in all forms, sautéed rice, stir‑fried noodles, smoothies, fruit juices, and Valianese coffee; only the espresso required payment, everything else was included. The location sits on the main road leading to Ubud’s center, but you need a scooter or taxi to reach the center of Wood, just 5 km away, which during rush hour can mean a 35‑minute wait. The entire hotel is surrounded by a beautifully maintained tropical garden, a lovely pool shaded by palms and tropical plants, with flowers and fruits hanging everywhere, creating an Eden‑like vibe. The pool has both shallow and deep sections, always reachable by foot, and free beach towels and loungers are available. They handle scooter rentals directly, delivering a 160‑cc large scooter to the hotel for about 7.5 €; it’s suitable for two European guests. The staff are always friendly. However, they took a long time to resolve issues: our hot water didn’t work, and it took three days to fix it. On the second day we asked for an empty room to wash, and that was arranged.
