The location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful—especially Mrs. Prata. From the first night, the lack of soundproofing became obvious; even at 4 am I couldn't sleep because of guests arriving at their rooms. Desperate and unable to rest, I had to call reception to report the issue. The next morning, after being told I wouldn't get a refund for the remaining two nights, I was offered a room on the 4th floor. Although it had a larger bed, it felt inferior to the original room because it lacked a balcony and faced the back. Soundproofing was still insufficient, with lingering noise. Cleaning in both rooms was clearly inadequate, limited to changing sheets and towels without a proper sweep. On the second morning, after the person picking me up had coffee with me at the hotel, I invited her to join me in the room while she fetched my wallet. Mrs. Prata stopped us in a manner I found excessively rude and disrespectful, stating that non‑guests were prohibited and, citing my situation and that the room was meant for a couple, she would not allow her entry. I understand the hotel may have policies about third‑party access, but these should be communicated and enforced politely and professionally, regardless of circumstances. The way this was handled left me deeply uncomfortable and contributed to a negative experience.
