Visnes Hotel Stryn

This hotel has a very distinct character, a mid‑war vibe that feels very atmospheric. The rooms are beautiful, the spaces are lovely, and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The only drawback is the missing elevator, but that would ruin the character of the place.

A hidden gem among hotels, cozy and hilly, with a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owner couple is very friendly. The staff are attentive and very helpful. Breakfast is tasty, with free coffee, tea, and pastries available at any time. It’s a place for peace and relaxation. There are no negative remarks.

“A wonderful character property”

A lovely, character hotel with fabulously designed interiirs to the rooms - quite quirky. Some history to the place. Brilliant staff. Delicious breakfast - lots of local produce. Our room, at the front of the hotel, was set back from the E road, but not great soundproofing out to the balcony, so we could clearly hear the traffic. Thus didn't prevent us from sleeping tho' - the road was fairly quiet during the night

“Nydelig lite hotell!”

A lovely small hotel with a great location relative to Stryn town centre. The food is excellent! Homemade bread for breakfast and a delicious dinner in the evening. Remember to try the local gin and tonic drinks :) The only issue is that there is a road and a truck parking lot right across the street, so the view isn’t perfect.
